Canada Geese can cause problems in urban parks, golf courses, crops and landscaped gardens by grazing, trampling, fouling footpaths and damaging wildlife habitat. The accumulations of bird droppings can, for example, pose a risk to public safety and health as paths and walkways may become slippery and unsafe. Birds may also sometimes act as a reservoir for disease.
There are many products available for pest bird control. Scary eyes, reflective shiny tape, floating objects, loud noise which can all be used in conjunction with the use of hawks and falcons as a natural deterrent.
